Even if the players are eager to discover Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Square-Enix wants before that to make us relive an adventure published on 2007 on PSP. Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion will indeed bring the whole story of Zack Fair on modern consoles, with of course a technique brought up to date.
It is these innovations that are at the heart of a short trailer aired today. Title More than a remastershe returns to all the advantages of the port, which will enjoy “fully redesigned high definition graphics, a rearranged soundtrack, dialogues dubbed in English and Japanese, and an improved combat system”.
Nothing new under the sun, but it has at least the merit of reminding us that the release date is approaching. The publisher has nevertheless revealed in passing a table summarizing the maximum resolutions and frame rates according to the consoles, a priori without the possibility of choosing its display mode.
Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion will be available on December 13, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Switch, and you can pre-order it from €59.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
