Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have announced the death of one of their twin children.
World star Cristiano Ronaldo (37) and his partner Georgina Rodriguez (28) have to cope with a terrible blow of fate. Like the soccer player via his official Instagram account announced that their son has passed away. Rodriguez was pregnant with twins, but only the girl survived, according to the post.
“It is with deepest sadness that we have to announce that our boy has passed away,” the message said. “It’s the greatest pain a parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to experience this moment with some hope and joy.” The couple thanked all the hospital staff for their “care and support”. Addressing her late son, it goes on to say: “You are our angel. We will always love you.”
Ronaldo already has four children
Eleven years ago, Ronaldo became a father for the first time, when Cristiano Jr. saw the light of day. The twins Eva and Mateo (4) followed in 2017 via surrogate mother. He has also had their first child together with Rodríguez since 2017, daughter Alana Martina (4).
