El Correo managed to find out who the mistress in question is, namely a certain Ainhoa Armentia, accountant working in the law firm Imaz & Associés, where the Duke Consort of Palma de Mallorca also exercises.
For his part, his wife Cristina was in Geneva, Switzerland, where she lives, when the controversy broke out. It would seem that she is well aware of her husband’s adultery with his colleague. Questioned by journalists after a day’s work, Iñaki Urdangarin simply assured that “these are things that happen”. Ainhoa Armentia has also not escaped questions about his extramarital relationship with the father of Pablo, Irene, Miguel and Juan. Discreet, she preferred not to comment on the subject.
