In the next three years, 20 medical study places at the Sigmund Freud Private University (SFU) in Vienna are reserved for young people who then commit to working for the Styrian state hospitals for ten years. The fact that the program costs nine million euros in state funds, but at the same time the state did not use the new opportunity to “reserve” study places at the public Graz medical university, caused harsh criticism from the Greens.
