It is a first name, to say the least, of a 12-year-old child, which is all around the web. Come to be vaccinated, the young schoolboy Abcdef Ghijk became famous in spite of himself.
Last week, at a vaccination center in the Indonesian province of South Sumatra, a 12-year-old boy with an unusual name arrived. Initially the nursing staff thought it was a joke but when the child arrived, his identity papers as well as the name embroidered on his shirt attested to it, his name is Abcdef Ghijk Zuzu. Very quickly, his story went around the world.
According to research by a curious police officer, the child’s father said it took 6 years to choose his son’s first name, adding that he loved crosswords and that was why he chose the letters of the alphabet (in the correct order). The father of the family always dreamed of becoming an author so he decided to use his imagination to compose the name of his son. Dad’s original plan was to give each of his children a name consisting only of letters in alphabetical order. The Abcdef brothers were to be named Nopq Rstuv and Xyz. Lucky for them, the father changed his mind before they were born and named them Ammar and Attur.

But Abcdef Ghijk is not an easy name to bear, the young boy confessed to the Indonesian media that he was the victim of mockery mainly at school by his comrades. But rest assured, the pronunciation is much simpler since the teenager is called “Adef”.
As surprising as it may seem, this is not the first time in the world that such an unusual first name has been registered. A few years ago in the United States, a young girl introduced herself as Abcde – pronounce Äbsiddy – and quickly made the headlines. However, according to media reports, she shares her name with more than 200 people.
