Gala, however, remains down more than 94% from its November 2021 all-time high at $0.8370.
As for the reasons for the recent surge, GALA benefited from Monday’s announcement of the development of two films starring Hollywood stars Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and Mark Wahlberg.
Developers Gala Games have announced a major partnership between the blockchain gaming platform and the 2 popular players, detailing that movie ticket buyers will be able to scan a QR code and earn digital assets.
The platform also stated that Gala Film will use GALA as its own gas (fee) token.

Neither “The Rock” nor Wahlberg have yet commented on their collaboration with Gala Games.
