Bitcoin Grup SE expanded its marketplace offering on Bitcoin.de to include the option of exchanging Bitcoin for other cryptocurrencies.
As the first German provider, the company is now offering over a million customers to the crypto exchange Bitcoin.de trading in pure cryptocurrency pairs. This means that from now on you can buy Ethereum (ETH) with Bitcoin (BTC), for example. The integration of several crypto currencies is planned in order to expand the offer in the future.

Marco Bodewein, CEO of Bitcoin Group SE, told BTC-ECHO that the “principle of supply and demand” applies here. “If our users want more trading pairs (e.g. LTC / BTC), we’ll see how quickly this request can be implemented,” says Bodewein.
“Technically, only the currencies that are traded with us on the platform can currently be integrated,” the board continued to explain. “But here, too, we are working on a constant expansion of the range. Depending on how the new marketplace is accepted, ETH is also possible as a payment currency (XRP / ETH, DOGE / ETH etc.) ”, Bodewein told BTC-ECHO.
“Without intermediate step”
Bodewein also explained why the company relies on Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE) and Ripple (XRP) to start trading with pure crypto pairings. “Ethereum is the second most successful cryptocurrency next to Bitcoin, and it has recorded the greatest demand,” said the Bitcoin Group SE board member to BTC-ECHO. “The development of the last few months speaks for itself at Ripple and Doge too”.
According to the press release, the highest security standards also apply to the new feature. In addition, the booking of the crypto transactions would take place “within seconds”.
