  • “CSI Vegas” returns in 2022 with season 2 on US broadcaster CBS.
  • Jorja Fox will no longer be seen as Sara Sidle in the new episodes. The actress announced this on Twitter.
  • She cited the departure of colleague William Petersen as Gil Grissom as the reason for her decision.

It is already certain that “CSI Vegas” will receive a second season from the US broadcaster CBS. It is also known that William Petersen will not appear as Gil Grissom in the new episodes. Now Jorja Fox is also leaving the reboot in which she starred as Sara Sidle.

The actress tweeted, “After much deliberation, I have decided not to be a part of CSI Vegas. To me, ‘CSI’ has always been a love story. The story that people can find love in the darkest of places and in the darkest of times. And the story that even in the darkest of places and times, love can grow and take root and endure.”

“Personally, I just can’t separate Sara and Grissom. Grissom is leaving. Sara is leaving. Wherever they go, they belong together.”
