On Cult of the Lamb, developed by Massive Monster and published by Devolver Digital, pelisses are clothing that can be unlocked and worn by the Lamb. How to unlock new furs on Cult of the Lamb?

To unlock new furs on Cult of the Lamb, players will have to recover a very specific item, a “Sacred Talisman”. This item consists of 4 shards in total. Holy Talisman Shards can be obtained by completing quests for certain NPCs.

Once you have collected all the shards, thus forming a complete Sacred Talisman, enter the Temple to buy a new cloak. To do this, simply interact with the Temple Altar and select “Crown”, then choose the desired equipment.

Characteristics of all coats

On Cult of the Lamb, players can currently unlock 5 different furs for their character. Each of them offers very specific characteristics, offering bonuses and penalties. But, without further ado, discover a presentation of the furs available on the title of Massive Monster and Devolver Digital, below.

golden fur

You deal more damage for each enemy killed. Effect reset when an enemy attacks you. You take 2x more damage.

magic pelisse

Hexes inflict 2x more damage for 2x less fervor, but the damage of your weapons and your life are divided by 2.

Corrupt Pelisse

Grants a Corrupted Heart with each tarot card drawn, but you will lose 100% of your new items if you die.

Cloak of fate

Draw four tarot cards at the start of the dungeon, but no more cards can be drawn afterwards.

Pelisse of the Soul

All hearts are replaced with 1.5x the amount of blue hearts.

Ranking of the best fur coats and some tips

As you can see above, each coat offers a more or less interesting bonus. Unfortunately, some penalties are quite restrictive and can greatly affect the smooth running of a run. Thus, it seems preferable to select a fur coat according to your objectives, but also your gameplay. Also try to counterbalance the malus with tarot cards, for example. In this regard, here are some tips:

• golden fur : Losing twice as much health is very restrictive, despite the damage buff.
  • Try to counterbalance this significant loss of hearts by choosing tarot cards allowing you to regain them, if you have the opportunity.

• magic pelisse : More suitable for players who prefer to use Hexes rather than weapons.
  • Therefore, try to boost your gains in fervor thanks to tarot cards, to recharge your spells more quickly.

• Corrupt Pelisse : Prefer to use this pelisse when you return to dungeons that have already been completed.
  • Using this pelisse when you discover a new dungeon is not necessarily a good choice. Indeed, during a first run in a dungeon, you will discover new resources for your cult. Losing them would be a shame.

• Cloak of fate : Unlock and use this cloak instead when you have sufficiently interesting tarot cards that can adapt to your way of playing.
  • Chance playing a big role, it is difficult to anticipate your run with this coat.

• Pelisse of the Soul : For all players.
  • Can be interesting especially if you come across tarot cards increasing the amount of blue hearts.
