Curiosity in Ebbs – dog and master were stuck in a pool of water

Bad luck for a dog owner in Ebbs: When his four-legged friend fell into a pool of water, this was not the only mishap. In the end, the dog and its owner needed the help of the fire brigade.

On Tuesday at around 4.50 p.m. the dog of the 71-year-old German fell into the basin of the power plant in Ebbs and could not get out. After the man had alerted the Ebbs fire department, he abseiled down into the pool with a makeshift rope. He wanted to try to save the dog that was swimming in the water. The man couldn’t get out either. This did not work and the dog owner was then unable to save himself from the water. The Ebbs fire brigade, which was deployed with 15 men and three vehicles, took over the rescue. In the end, the incident went smoothly.
