Can do more than any compass. The iPhone and iPad app “Quickgets Geo: geodata widgets” not only shows the current position. The app lets you quickly find your current heading, current speed, altitude, geographic coordinates, orientation, and weather indicators using your iPhone’s internal compass and GPS. There are also useful features such as different map views, bookmarks, street views, weather and much more.
In short: “Quickgets Geo” is a kind of Swiss army knife among the compass apps. Something like this usually costs 2.99 euros. Currently, however, the developers are giving away the apps for a short time in the Apple App Store. There are no ads or in-app purchases – very good. By the way: The app not only works on the iPhone or iPad, “Quickgets Geo” is also very useful on the Apple Watch.
