Displayed at 229 €, the new Cyberbuds DAO TWS wireless headphones are obviously positioned at the top of the range, but their price seems rather well studied for an original premium model and equipped with active noise reduction. What is immediately striking is the transparent design that allows you to admire part of the electronics. This will certainly remind you of the Nothing Ear (2).

But Redmagic goes even further, with a stainless steel central chassis for unfailing robustness, and as a bonus laser-engraved patterns and RGB light effects shared with the case and the wireless charging base. The case features a sliding panel that opens with an original cutscene. A design that ventures out of the box, and which conceals particularly elaborate electronics. First of all, there is the new Qualcomm S5 Bluetooth chip compatible with version 5.3 of the communication protocol. It offers Cyberbuds DAO TWS support for most current codecs (SBC, AAC, LE Audio, aptX and LHDC 5.0).
This chip also achieves reduced latency. Using the direct Bluetooth connection with a smartphone for example, this latency is 39 ms at best, but it is possible to drop to 28 ms. To do this, you have to go through the supplied USB-C dongle: 11 ms of gain can make the difference for the most relentless players, because these headphones are compatible with consoles and PCs in addition to mobile devices.
The Goper application available for Android and Apple devices offers many possibilities for settings around sound, but also the light effects already mentioned. The headphones support DTS technology, including DTS spatial sound.
The DAO TWS Cyberbuds hide 11 mm diameter drivers with moving coils for greater precision as well as precise and balanced rendering. Their diaphragm uses wool in addition to a classic LCP film. The brand announces an active reduction of ambient noise capable of reaching 48 dB. Each earphone incorporates a 35 mAh battery while that of the carrying case displays 350 mAh. It will therefore be possible to recharge the headphones thanks to it five times. The base can be recharged via USB (approximately 50 minutes are required) or wirelessly. Recharging the earphones will take about forty minutes.
