Cyberpunk 2077: a release update 1.63, the game continues to be improved

After the 1.62 update which improved the performance of the PC version, and especially while waiting for the extension Phantom Liberty dated for the start of the school year, Cyberpunk 2077 will be further optimized with a patch. There software version 1.63 has just been deployed today and this time it concerns PS5, Xbox Series X | S and personal computers.

There is no question of new graphic possibilities or additional free cosmetic content, but simply ofa long list of fixes for the whole experience. Progress in quests, display, gameplayalmost everything goes there, to the delight of players who plan to do or redo the adventure in the best conditions.

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.63 is rolling out now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This update brings various fixes to gameplay and quests. For more information, see the list of changes below.

Quests

  • Fixed a bug where selecting a blue dialogue option while calling Mitch twice could cause the communication to appear permanently on screen.
  • All Along the Watchtower – Fixed a bug where V died after crossing the border.
  • Chippin’ In – You should now be able to examine all the clues on the Ebunike before you get spotted.
  • Gimme Danger – Fixed a bug where there were no objectives left in the journal.
  • I Walk the Line – Fixed a bug that could cause V to die randomly during the quest.
  • Lightning Breaks – Fixed a bug where Panam was not present in front of the garage, but spawned inside the motel instead.
  • Machine Gun – Fixed a bug that prevented dialogue with Skippy from being activated after getting 50 kills and no longer allowed to unequip the weapon.
  • Never Fade Away – Fixed a bug where Rogue would disappear from the bench seat in Atlantis, blocking progress.
  • Only Pain – Fixed a bug where it was impossible to complete the “Defeat the Police” objective, because the police were not present there.
  • Play It Safe – Fixed a bug where Parade holograms and platforms would disappear when loading an autosave.
  • Play It Safe – Fixed a bug where Takemura would not call to start the parade mission.
  • Pyramid Song – Fixed a bug where Judy would teleport underground after entering the church.
  • Search and Destroy – Takemura will now go to his hiding place instead of standing in the middle of the room during Arasaka’s attack.
  • Orgasmic Ride – Fixed a bug where the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech would spawn underground, blocking progress.
  • Small Man, Big Mouth – Enemies and the van will now spawn correctly.
  • The Heist – Fixed a bug where Jackie was not present in front of the Afterlife.
  • With a Little Help from My Friends – Fixed a bug where nomads were not present at the train station.

open world

  • Fixed cases where some Contracts would get stuck in the “Undiscovered” stage and not start when approaching the area.
  • Fixed a bug that caused normal subtitles to appear instead of overhead subtitles when some NPCs in Rancho Coronado were speaking.
  • Contract: Bloodsport – If you look in the dojo bathroom mirror, it will no longer reflect V from behind.
  • Contract: Last Login – Fixed a bug that allowed picking up the quest item before activating the quest, breaking the flow of the mission.
  • Contract: Farewell Party – Fixed a bug where it was impossible to get in the car with Flavio.
  • Contract: The Guinea Pigs – All security bots in the hotel will engage in combat now.
  • Contract: On a Leash – Fixed a bug that could cause the contract with no objective to become stuck after you complete it.
  • Contract: Suicide Streak – Fixed a bug that could reactivate the quest after you complete it and get stuck on the “Steal the CCTV Footage” objective.
  • Reported Crime: Blood in the Air – Fixed a bug where the quest would get stuck on the “Search the Crate” objective even though you had already searched it.
  • Reported Crime: Red Comrade – Fixed a bug where it was impossible to search the cache.

Interface

  • Fixed a bug that caused the message “Enemy hacking in progress” to appear when transferring money or data.
  • Fixed a bug that could render devices unusable after opening the map.
  • Fixed a bug where the option to enable/disable FSR was not greyed out after restarting the game if dynamic resolution scaling was enabled.

Visual

  • Fixed a bug where some surfaces showed color artifacts when path-tracing was enabled.
  • Fixed a bug that caused flashes of bright colors to appear around the edges of certain objects when DLSS was enabled.

PC Specific Changes

  • Fixed a crash that occurred on game launch when using Razer Chroma.
  • Fixed a bug where Photo Mode screenshots could appear as empty files. The images are saved again in the original folder.
  • Improved performance of DLSS frame generation on AMD processors.

Console Specific Changes

  • Changed the number of save slots available on Xbox to 20 for manual saves and 10 for point of no return saves. Players whose number of saves exceeds this new limit will have to delete some in order to create new saves.
  • Fixed a bug that affected performance on Xbox Series X|S after a long game session.

Various

  • Photo mode frames and stickers will now appear correctly on captured screenshots.
  • Now Padre will recognize Nomad V and Corpo V during the intro holo call.

REDmod

  • The ability to deploy mods from a list file has been added.
  • Updated help texts for commands.
