While waiting for an exact date and pricing, we are starting to get an idea of the price that will have to be paid for the extension. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

All bets are off, but here we are betting on the high end.

What price for Phantom Liberty ?

As for The Witcher 3 (whose next-gen version finally has a release date), CD Projekt RED has decided to mix free DLC and paid extension(s) to continue to feed and bring life to Cyberpunk 2077. For those who missed the information, in 2023, the studio will offer Phantom Liberty. This sizable scripted expansion will be there so players can keep scouring Night City (or elsewhere?) while they wait. Cyberpunk 2.

This major content will therefore not be free. This is what Radek Grabowski, communication director at CD Projekt RED, confirmed to GamesRadar+. The man also added: Traditionally, our expansions are cheaper than full-priced games. This little phrase, coupled with the general inflation that the video game industry is also experiencing, suggests that this extension of Cyberpunk 2077 could be sold a little more expensive than those of The Witcher 3.

For memory, Hearts of Stone is sold for 9.99 euros, when Blood and Wine, more important, is offered at 19.99 euros. Everything will depend on the level of ambition and content of this extension, therefore. But a price around 20 or even 30 euros cannot be ruled out. Answer probably soon with, we hope, the release date!
