Cyril Féraud in mourning: his heartbreaking announcement, “bon voyage petite Livia”

On his Instagram account this Tuesday, April 12, Cyril Féraud paid tribute to Livia. This little girl died of a rare cancer.

This is a terrible announcement that Cyril Féraud did not want to make… On his Instagram account this Tuesday, April 12, the host of Slam paid tribute to a little girl who has just breathed her last. “Immense sadness. Little Livia has joined the stars”, began the presenter of France Télévisions. Upset, Cyril Féraud continued by telling the story of this little Livia. “She was the first little girl to have received one of the Marguerite soft toys sent by Slam viewers and distributed for Christmas thanks to the association Les Lutins du Phoenix to sick children who are fighting against cancer. All our thoughts and our strength to her family and all the children (and adults) who are fighting this fucking cancer. Bon voyage little Livia”he wrote in the caption of a photo of her.

In December 2020, Cyril Feraud had already posted an image of Livia. “Friends, I present to you the little Livia, 6 and a half years old, who fights daily against the disease, and who is the first to receive Marguerites that you sent to us, thanks to the association ‘Les Lutins du Phœnix ‘ and to Slam”wrote on Facebook the host of the show. As a reminder, this association organizes activities and events based on new technologies and geek culture, for children treated in pediatric cancer services., as was the case with little Livia. On Facebook, the girl’s family announced her death on the night of April 11.

Livia suffered from a rare cancer

“Livia flew away last night (…) calmly, with her mum, dad and darling by her side… And of course her little sister who was sleeping not far from her either. Livia will have fought 22 months against the disease, but this damn cancer prevailed, wrote his parents. I feel like a part of me left with her, life will never have the same flavor from now on. I love you for life my baby, my first doll. We will greatly miss you. Verry much.” Livia battled anaplastic astrocytoma, a very rare brain cancer, for almost two years.
