No need to wait for the official presentation to discover the Dacia Duster 2024 (third generation Duster): shots of the camouflaged subject during a test drive made it possible to develop renderings.

Dacia’s flagship vehicle since 2010, the Duster will be entitled to a third generation next year, in 2024. Remember that the current model, the Duster 2, dates from 2017 (with a few restylings since). The Romanian manufacturer will therefore maintain its rhythm of new model every seven years. An emblematic model of the brand, this Duster 3 is inevitably expected at the turn and we now have a good overview of its exterior design thanks to two illustrations.

Renderings made from real shots

First of all, let’s put them in context. At the end of March, as part of a test drive, several – very real – photos of the Dacia Duster 3 were published. The racing car then crisscrossed the roads in camouflage mode, but still let the curves of its bodywork show through.

The media Kolesa used this base to propose the two renderings below. We have added two photos of the current model so you can view the differences.

It’s up to you to embark on an exhaustive differences game. Most notable are a slightly redesigned front end, including redesigned headlights and the addition of fake side air intakes.

At the rear, we notice at first glance a change in the level of the headlights, more contained in a rectangular block, as well as remote rear door handles at window height.

CMF-B Platform

Of course, the changes of this third generation Dacia Duster will not only be aesthetic and exterior. Based on the CMF-B platform, the 2024 edition will innovate on the engine side, with hybrid versions which will replace the diesel versions. Dacia will still offer petrol and LPG vehicles.

The brand should present the Duster 2024 before the end of the year, with a view to marketing in… 2024! Finally, for those who still want more, the manufacturer will also offer a Dacia Bigster the following year, in 2025. Both vehicles will be manufactured at the Mioveni plant in Romania.
