This year, fans of Dance with the stars have a double dose of pleasure. Indeed, if the classic version made its comeback on TF1, a second landed in parallel for the first time on Twitch. It is Dancing with the Internet Starsimagined by Michou, former finalist of DALS in 2021. The famous Youtuber called on six of his influencer friends: Natoo, Nicotine, Domingo, Baghera Jones, Gaëlle Garcia Diaz and Le Bouseuh. Given the shorter format, the final will already take place this Friday March 29, just after the new prime Dance with the stars.
Gaëlle Garcia Diaz was normally supposed to compete with Natoo and Domingo but, unfortunately, she was forced to withdraw following a major injury, namely a fractured rib. “I can’t believe it ended like this, it’s horrible“, she said sorry in a video posted on Youtube. “I feel super guilty because when I went to have my x-ray done, the radiologist confirmed to me that the rib is not cracked, it is fractured and when he told me that it was not at all a good idea to dance, that I had to stop, I blame myself for not having been honest with the production and for not having just accepted that it is like that“, added the one who dances with Jordan Mouillerac (also partner of Cristina Cordula in DALS).
Inès Vandamme knew this pain well. Indeed, reacting to the abandonment of Gaëlle Garcia Diaz, the professional dancer made a revelation about her debut in the TF1 program and the ordeal she experienced in secret. “I know what it’s like to have a sore rib because I cracked my rib live in the semi-final of my first season of Dance with the stars And it was a monstrous difficulty to make the final the week immediately following. I was treated by the INSEP doctors, it was crazy, so congratulations to Gaëlle“, she confided on her Instagram channel.
Inès Vandamme inherits two dance partners
It was in 2019 that Inès Vandamme joined the troupe of Dance with the stars for the first time. At the time, she had reached the final with Ladji Doucouré and had not revealed anything about her physical discomfort. It is with the same mental strength that Inès Vandamme overcame her recent sluggishness, she who has a busy schedule. Because not only does she train with Nico Capone to Dance with the stars but in addition she coached Domingo to Dancing with the Internet Stars. With the latter, she is also preparing for the final for this evening. “I admit that the weeks become difficult because they are very intense and at the same time it’s great, I’m very lucky, I meet incredible people and I experience very powerful moments. We are in the final of Dancing with the Internet Stars with Domingo, it’s crazy“, she rejoiced.
