After a particularly lively season 13, notably marked by the dispute between the comedian Inès Reg and the winner of the season, the singer Natasha St-Pier, it is now a dancer who has stopped the hearts of the show’s fans dead in their tracks . Inès Vandamme, three-time finalist of the competition and winner of the Internet version (DALSI) of the program with YouTuber Domingo, revealed during a question and answer session on Instagram this Wednesday, May 29, that she was not yet sure whether she would return to the Studio 217 set next year. “The production has not officially announced a new season and for my part, I need to think seriously about the direction I want to give to my life as a dancer”she said.
A few weeks ago, the one who also presents the Loto draw on TF1 announced that she was taking a vacation after months of juggling between her multiple activities. However, she made it clear that she would come back in force, with many projects in mind, without revealing the details: “Friends, I’m preparing great things at work. I rarely say it but I think I’m proud of what I’m building. Professionally and personally, I feel so aligned and fulfilled”, she confided to her community. Participating in a new season of DALS could slow down these projects, however, passionate dancer, Inès Vandamme has never hidden her love for the program, enough to give fans a little hope.
DALS 2025: Inès Vandamme leaves doubts lingering
The one who joined Dance with the stars in 2019, sharing her first season with the sportsman Ladji Doucouré whom she also took to the final, had nevertheless mentioned during the final of this season 13 the possibility of returning in 2025: “You know, I’m not going to stop there! Like at the end of every season of ‘DALS’, I wonder if one day I will walk on this beautiful floor again… The future knows better than us, but I prefer to live in the present.”. However, within a few weeks, his opinion apparently changed. Inès Vandamme had already confided that participating in Dance with the stars was exhausting, both psychologically and physically. The controversies that have splashed the program this year have undoubtedly not improved the situation.
