(AOF) – Danone announces that it has obtained the Russian regulatory authorizations required for the sale of its EDP activities (dairy and plant-based products) in Russia to Vamin R LLC. The sale is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. As a reminder, Danone initiated the process of transferring these activities in October 2022. In July 2023, realizing that it no longer held management control, Danone deconsolidated its EDP Russia activities. The total loss recognized by Danone in its accounts amounts to 1.2 billion euros.
