Darkest Dungeon II: Roadmap, what’s new to come

Since the release of its last title last October, Red Hook Studios has not been idle to resolve the various concerns encountered. But it’s time for Darkest Dungeon II to explore its universe in more depth, and for this a roadmap is now available. The latter makes it possible to punctuate the arrival of content in the game until its final release, version 1.0. Six major updates are planned, but that won’t stop the studio from doing more regularly to fix issues.

Roadmap of Darkest Dungeon II until the final exit

New from February 2021

The first major update will not be long in coming since it is scheduled for the month of February. This patch contains many gameplay improvements, but also new monster lairs to visit. The different creatures also receive changes to provide a more suitable challenge. But it’s the Relics that are at the heart of the update. These will be greatly improved to make them more viable and much more effective during your adventures.

Updates up to 1.0

The various updates are not dated, so as not to have to postpone the deadlines in case of problems. However, we know that the next 5 major patches will focus on the arrival of new content. In particular, we can discover new monsters, bosses, regions and even mercenaries. But the story will also get ahead, with the conclusion of the different acts as well as environmental variations.

However, everything that is described on the roadmap of Darkest Dunegon II is not doomed to be left alone. More regular updates are also planned to continue to improve and stabilize the game. It will therefore be necessary to wait a long time before officially seeing the game land. However, these various improvements will make it possible to refresh the experience regularly.
