Das Supertalent: The new episodes will be broadcast from October

The Saturday evening show series "Das Supertalent" starts a new season. Now the station has also announced the exact start date.

The new season of the TV show "Das Supertalent" (RTL) starts on October 17th at 8:15 pm on RTL. The station announced on Thursday. This time, chief juror Dieter Bohlen (66) and model Bruce Darnell (63), along with new colleagues, reality TV star Evelyn Burdecki (31) and comedian Chris Tall (29), decide who is the most fascinating entertainment talent of the year. About the two newcomers to the jury, Bohlen said in an interview with the broadcaster: "We welcomed you with open arms. You are doing a good job. Everything fits."

"We're really kidding ourselves this season"

"People have a lot of worries at the moment. We try to distract them a little with our show and to entertain them as best as possible, with all the means we have. We're going full throttle!" Promises Dieter Bohlen. He also reveals what that might look like: "I brought my hula hoops from home, play a monkey in a cage, Bruce ruins his expensive clothes with slime and paint … We want to distract people and make them laugh That's why we're kidding ourselves this season, "said Bohlen.

But the head of the jury also inspires the acts of the new season: "We also have very great acts with us: acts where I laughed nonstop, but also talents that move you very much, such as a deaf-mute dancer or an ex-'super talent' -Candidate who sang so much that I fought back tears. And we have unique elephants with us – I thought they were amazing, "says Bohlen.

Could a dog win again?

In the past season and a total of four times a "dog training" has won. Could another four-legged friend make it onto the podium again this season? "We really got into the dog with 'Supertalent'. The jury doesn't want another dog to win, but the audience is king. The dog numbers weren't that strong this year either. They were good, but not special. Long live the new one, and I don't think it will be a dog this time, "says Bohlen.
