There will be some changes to “Supertalent” in the 16th season. These concern, among other things, the filming location and the final show.
Filming for “Das Supertalent” will start again in December. The 16th season, which is expected to be broadcast on RTL in spring 2024, has some new features this time – and not just for the jury.
New location and no live finale
The filming location also changed as a broadcaster spokesman for the industry website “DWDL” has now confirmed. The chic theater venue has to give way; the new editions will be filmed in the MMC Studios in Cologne.
Also new will be the finale, which will no longer take place as a live show in the 16th season. This is due to “production-related reasons,” said the station spokesman. In addition, for the first time, the audience will not decide who the winner will be. According to the report, the final will be recorded on December 15th, i.e. in around a month.
RTL has not yet announced a specific date for the broadcast. This time the new episodes are expected to come in the spring and not in the second half of the year as usual.
This is the new jury
The jury for the 16th season again consists of Dieter Bohlen (69) and Bruce Darnell (66). The well-rehearsed “Supertalent” duo has gotten female support on board: “Let’s Dance” professional dancer Ekaterina Leonova (36) and “Let’s Dance” winner Anna Ermakova (23) are helping them both.
