Dassault Systèmes aims for further earnings growth in 2022


PARIS, Feb 3 (Reuters) – Dassault Systmes said on Thursday it is aiming for continued growth in 2022, after seeing its non-IFRS net earnings per share (EPS) climb 26% in 2021 on the back of strong commercial momentum .

The software publisher specializing in 3D design is aiming for a 3% to 6% increase in its non-IFRS EPS per share this year, between 0.98 euro and 1 euro, against 0.95 euro in 2021.

Revenue for 2022 is expected to increase organically by 9% to 10% to reach between 5.3 billion and 5.35 billion euros, after 4.86 billion last year (+11%).

For the current first quarter, the group says it is aiming for organic growth of 9% 11% of its turnover and an EPS of between 0.23 and 0.24 euro.

“For 2022, we intend to continue our progress by building on solid fundamentals and the successes that we recorded in 2021”, commented in a press release the newly appointed financial director Rouven Bergmann.

During the fourth quarter of 2021, Dassault Systmes indicates that it recorded performance in line with its expectations with non-IFRS revenue up 10% organically and EPS up 17% to 0.29 euros. (Report Blandine Hnault, told by Matthieu Protard)
