(CercleFinance.com) – Dassault Systèmes announced on Thursday that the French start-up Blue Spirit Aero has deployed its ‘3DExperience’ platform to develop its prototype hydrogen-powered aircraft.
The software designer explains that Blue Spirit relied on its platform to finalize the detailed 3D design of ‘Dragonfly’, its future hydrogen-powered aircraft, in a few months.
The platform also allowed him to test and validate the performance of the device in terms of structure, energy supply and aerodynamics, it is specified in its press release.
The ‘3DExperience’ collaborative platform integrates design, modeling and simulation software allowing the creation of ‘virtual twins’.
Blue Spirit Aero is aiming for certification and entry into service of its aircraft by 2026.
