Date fixed – On April 14, 2024, Innsbruck will elect its mayor

The Greens are the strongest party before the FPÖ
The Greens were voted the strongest party in 2018 with 24.2 percent, followed by the FPÖ with 18.6 percent. The ÖVP split for Innsbruck (FI) took third place with 16.2 percent, the ÖVP fourth with 14.9 percent. The SPÖ reached 10.3 percent. After the election, a total of ten lists entered the municipal council, after a split in the Greens and two exits from the party (Bernhard Schmidt, FPÖ and Helmut Buchacher, SPÖ), there are now eleven lists and two free mandates in the Innsbruck plenum.
