He stars in a new Spielberg film

David Lynch is best known as a director. For Steven Spielberg, however, he steps in front of the camera.
Film director David Lynch (76) will appear in front of the camera for a new project. He is said to play a role in his colleague Steven Spielberg’s (75) new film. This is reported by the US industry magazine “Variety”. However, there is still a big mystery about who Lynch will portray in The Fabelmans.
First collaboration between the directors
What exactly the film will be about is not yet known. The partly autobiographical work is based on experiences from Spielberg’s childhood and youth in the US state of Arizona. It will feature stars such as Michelle Williams (41), Seth Rogen (39) and Paul Dano (37) as well as newcomer Gabriel LaBelle. “The Fabelmans” is scheduled to hit German cinemas at the end of 2022.
Should Lynch actually star in the film, it would be the first collaboration between the two directors. Although the 76-year-old was also an actor and active in many other artistic fields in the past, Lynch is particularly well known as the brains behind films such as “Lost Highway” and “Mulholland Drive” or the series “Twin Peaks”.
