The electric mobility operator R3, a subsidiary of DBT, selected by the
LE DUFF Group for the operation of high-power charging stations
in its new 100% digital Del Arte restaurant concept
Brebières, July 12, 2023, 6:00 p.m. – The DBT group (Euronext Growth – ISIN code: FR0013066750 – mnemonic code: ALDBT) European expert in charging stations for electric vehicles, R3, French operator of high-power charging stations and Charge Expert, specialist integrator for electric mobility equipment announce that they have been selected for the new restaurant concept of Del Arte, a subsidiary of the LE DUFF Group, in Joué-lès-Tours. This innovative restaurant is made up of three distinct spaces: Cafferitivo, an all-day bar, Ristorante, a classic restaurant with table service, and A Casa, a space dedicated to delivery and drive-thru. The charging stations installed in the establishment’s car park will allow customers to quickly and efficiently charge their electric vehicle.
An innovative concept to attract a younger clientele
Del Arte’s new restaurant in Joué-lès-Tours was designed to attract a younger clientele. With a surface area of only 350 m2, the restaurant is 100% digitalized and aims for a balanced distribution of turnover between classic catering, delivery and the coffee point. High power stations supplied by DBT, installed by Charge Expert and operated by R3, add an extra touch of innovation and sustainability to the restaurant concept.
A pilot site for future restaurants equipped with high-power charging stations
Del Arte’s new site in Joué-lès-Tours is a pilot site for DBT’s high-power charging stations, installed by Charge Expert. This collaboration enabled Del Arte to benefit from a turnkey solution by entrusting the entire project, from the initial choice of terminals to their daily operation, to a single contact. The site is thus equipped with 2 terminals 150 kW with 4 charging points available with subscription card, QR code and bank card. The company plans to open between 6 and 10 new restaurants each year. The expected success of the new Joué-lès-Tours restaurant concept could lead to the installation of high-power charging stations at other brand sites and their operation by R3.
Promising development prospects for R3
With this new contract, R3 is positioning itself in the new fast food market segment. Being able to offer recharging over a short period, corresponding to meal time, namely 300 km in 30 minutes and at a competitive cost is the key to entering this high-potential market.
