Among the Marvel films that are eagerly awaited by everyone, we obviously note Deadpool 3 which is surely at the top of the podium. And for good, the film should be inspired by another Marvel feature film.

But this is notably the case also with the highly acclaimed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which should bring a lot of ideas to Deadpool 3.

Remember, the last movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had the genius to present not only an alternative version of the Earth that we know in the MCU, but he had also brought back cult characters with their original interpreters like Professor Xavier / Patrick Stewart. Well proud of the rendering and the result, Marvel would like to try the experience again with Deadpool 3. Which could explain in particular the reasons for the return of the character of Wolverine and his actor Hugh Jackman who is no longer a surprise to anyone.
The multiverse, the good excuse
Over time, the multiverse has become an obvious storyline asset for Disney. Indeed it allows both to introduce new characters but also to play with the nostalgia of the spectators by bringing back protagonists but especially cult actors from other films. Now it remains to be seen what will happen on Deadpool 3. Will we be entitled to the presence of other X-Men in the form of a cameo and even potentially to other versions of Deadpool? It is quite possible but still it is necessary that the introduction of the multiverse is well done and does not arrive in the scenario like a hair in the soup. For now Dead Pool 3 is scheduled for May 1, 2024, and barring a long-lasting writers’ strike, there shouldn’t be too much of a change.
