The cinema mourns the death of Gaspard Ulliel since this Wednesday, January 19. On Instagram, Emmanuelle Béart honored the memory of the actor with a particularly moving message.
Hard to believe… Gaspard ulliel died this Wednesday, January 19 at the age of 37, at the Grenoble University Hospital. The day before, the actor suffered a serious skiing accident at the resort of La Rosière in Savoie, where he collided with another skier. Gaëlle Pietri’s companion was unconscious when help arrived. He was treated on the spot for an hour before being transported by helicopter to the University Hospital of Grenoble. The actor had a head trauma and his vital prognosis was engaged. The other skier involved in the accident has been found”shocked but aware”, as reported The Parisian this January 20.
An investigation has been opened by the Albertville prosecutor’s office to determine the exact circumstances of this tragic accident. At this stage of the investigation, “nothing indicates a fault or excessive speed by one of the two skiers”, we were able to discover from BFM-TV. Gaspard Ulliel was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, which “took place at a junction between two blue runs, so trails of medium difficulty, accessible to all families, which did not present any particular difficulty”.
