Death of Georges Caudron, unforgettable French voice of Fox Mulder in X-Files

French actor Georges Caudron, known for having lent his voice to David Duchovny, and in particular in the series “X-Files”, died at the age of 70.

Born in 1952 in Hauts-de-Seine, Georges Caudron learned the profession of actor at the National School of Theater Arts and Techniques. After taking his first steps on the boards, and in addition to a few TV movies, he quickly specialized in the field of dubbing.

It was in the early 80s that for the first time, he went behind the bar to double the character of Matt Hunter, in the animated series Le Défi des Gobots.

With this first experience, he quickly became an essential voice in the middle of French dubbing. He notably made a name for himself by lending his warm and mysterious tone to David Duchovny, famous for having played FBI agent Fox Mulder alongside Dana Scully (voiced by Caroline Beaune) in the legendary X-Files series.

On the animation side, he vocally embodies Robin in the famous Batman series of the 90s, Bato in Avatar, the last airbender, Gargoyle in Finding Nemo, the father, little Rosy in Balto, and recently Zyclops in Buzz the Flash.

As for video game fans, they probably know him best as Shaun Hastings in the video game saga Assassin’s Creed.
