Death of Guy Marchand: the moving tribute of his son, Jules Marchand: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

The end of an era. Friday December 15, 2023, the interpreter of Nestor Burma between 1991 and 2003, Guy Marchand, died at the age of 86. It was his two children, Ludivine and Jules, who announced his disappearance toAFP. Two days later, the actor’s son, Jules Marchandwho inherited his father’s passion for cinema, came out of the silence on his Instagram account. In a moving messagehe first recalled how important his father had been in his life. “Dad, I love you! This life with you has given me so much. You are my father, my brother, my friend, my confidant. The whole person I am today was shaped by your words. You taught me to no longer be afraid, to love, to contemplate the simplest moments of life by telling me: ‘There, my son, we are immortal!'”he initially wrote in the caption of two photos where the complicity with his father is beyond doubt.

Jules Marchand: “I didn’t want you to leave”

Guy Marchand will have been lucky enough to be able to experience the happiness of being grandfather a second time. He had already been a grandpa for eight years. His daughter had given birth to Balthazar. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
