Death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut: his widow and his two sons, Tom and Olivier, gathered for a beautiful event

On the occasion of this Easter weekend, Nathalie Marquay and Tom Pernaut visited Olivier Pernaut. The eldest son of Jean-Pierre Pernaut invited his mother-in-law and his half-brother to participate in a car race on the Dijon-Presnois circuit.

There is nothing more important than family. After the announcement of the death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut on March 2, at the age of 71, his eldest son, Olivier, had paid a poignant tribute during the mass given to salute the memory of the former presenter of the 1 p.m. of TF1. He had notably mentioned his last exchange with his father. “I will forever remember the last look we exchanged, the day before your operation, when I left your room. We both looked a little worried, I think. And we didn’t really want to leave each other that day”he said.

Since then, Olivier Pernaut has been trying somehow to mourn. He thus continues his activities and regularly shares on social networks moments spent with his father. And this Saturday, April 16, Olivier invited Nathalie Marquay and Tom Pernaut for a weekend of thrills.

Nathalie Marquay: “Thanks to Olivier Pernaut for taking care of his brother”

The small family gathered in Dijon for this Easter weekend. A big fan of vintage cars and motor racing, Jean-Pierre Pernaut passed on this passion to his two sons. Thus, Olivier invited his half-brother Tom and his mother-in-law Nathalie, to a car rally in the capital of the Côte d’Or. “Dijon circuit, thanks to Olivier Pernaut for taking care of his brother. And we think a lot of Jean-Pierre Pernaut“, wrote Lou and Tom’s mom in a story posted on her Instagram account.

On the videos posted by the young woman, we can discover the duo in full preparation before starting a car race. A few minutes later, Nathalie Marquay shared another video of her son fighting against his opponents on the circuit. For his part, Tom Pernaut shared a photo of his sports weekend on his account. “Fun cup weekend in Dijon”, he simply added in the caption. A family moment which must have, for sure, allowed them to recharge their batteries.
