Deathloop is available on Xbox Series X|S, and gets a big update

Coming to PlayStation 5 on September 14, 2021, death loop rather won over his audience. It must be said that the game from Arkane Studios, to whom we owe Dishonored or Prey, does not lack qualities. And it’s not our test that will tell you otherwise.

Unveiled last week, the Xbox Series X|S version is available starting today. And it does not arrive alone, since it is accompanied by a rather complete update, called Goldenloop, completely free in addition, that the studio details for us in this short video.

Graphic options and additional content

With its original concept turned towards a time loop system, death loop was enough to keep players busy for a while. We can say that replayability is integral to the experiencelike a Returnal which, meanwhile, immerses body and soul in the very popular genre of Rogue Lite. Anyway, with its arrival on Xbox, the title of Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softwork also offers a nice little update which notably inflates its content.

In the program, several graphic modes for Xbox Series X, but also for Series S (which we tend to forget a little unfortunately). 4K at 60fps with rendering or framerate priority, 1080p running at 120fps, and 4K at 30fps highlighting VRR. You have the choice on the Series X. As for its little sister, it offers 1080p in 60fps, with priority to framerate or rendering.

And as we told you a little above, this update also brings its share of content. A new weapon, to begin with, but also a new power, new improvements, or new enemies. But the best is yet to come, since Goldenloop allows the arrival cross-play for multiplayer mode. In short, we can say that, on paper at least, Arkane Studios really didn’t make fun of us!

As a reminder, death loop is available today on Xbox Series X|Sand even offers a availability in Xbox Game Pass.
