Passed by Cannes, where it received the Camera d’Or, “War Pony” is one of the thirteen feature films selected in Competition at the next Deauville Festival, which will take place from September 2 to 11.
They are thirteen on the starting line. And in the end, only one will remain: the winner of the Grand Prix, awarded by the jury of Arnaud Desplechin. Just over a month from its opening, the 48th American Film Festival of Deauville has unveiled the films selected in Competition.
Among them: eight first films. Including War Pony by Riley Keough and Gina Gammell, awarded the Camera d’Or at the last Cannes Film Festival. Or Aftersun by Charlotte Wells, also seen on the Croisette and Critics’ Week. Or Watcher, with Maika Monroe, revelation of It Follows.
