A 504 Wh battery for 150 km of autonomy
With its 504 Wh battery placed in the open aluminum frame, the Rockrider E-ACTV 500 promises a range of up to 150 kilometers. The 28-inch wheels feature 47mm-wide Rockrider Protect+ tires. There is an SR Suntour SF15 NEX-E25 suspension fork at the front. Tektro T280 hydraulic disc brakes complete the package.
Decathlon opted for a PW-C2 central motor from Yamaha. Slopes can be taken up with ease thanks to its torque of 55 Nm. The transmission is an eight-speed Microshift Acolyte. For the rest, there are lights at the front and rear, a kickstand and a mudguard. Unfortunately, the luggage rack is sold separately.
A price below €2000
To prevent the bill from exploding, Decathlon has made some concessions with the Rockrider E-ACTV 500. Its range of 150 km requires limiting the use of electric assistance to avoid draining the battery too quickly, while the terrain that is too undulating or uneven may require increased caution.
In store or on the Decathlon website, the Rockrider E-ACTV 500 trekking bike is available at the advantageous price of €1,999. The biclou is only available in green laurel color in three sizes: S, M and L. The brand will soon launch a version with a closed frame.
Good news, assistance for purchasing an VAE put in place by the government is extended until 2027. You can therefore receive a financial boost to purchase the Rockrider E-ACTV 500, whether new or second hand.
As this is the first model in the E-ACTV range, we can expect new versions. We are talking in particular about an E-ACTV 100, but above all a 900 which promises to be more high-end.
