Deceit 2: a big change in economic model and a release date on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S

A small phenomenon when it was released in 2017, Deceit was entitled to a sequel, still developed by World Makers and taking up the codes of Werewolves of Thiercelieux. Deceit 2 was released last September on PC, for €9.99but the evaluations are “average” on Steamthe developers are therefore changing their tune.

Deceit 2 is now playable in free-to-play on PC, via Steamand its release date is set for April 3, 2024 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. As specified World Makers has Gematsu, PS4 and Xbox One versions are still planned, but they will arrive later. Regarding the change in economic model, James Thomspon, CEO from the studio, explains:

It wasn’t an easy decision to move to a free-to-play model, but we believe it’s the right decision to lower the barriers to entry and ensure more people can enjoy Deceit 2. For players who have already purchased the game before the free relaunch, we will provide free Werewolf DLC, three Crypt Keys, in-game currency, and a Season One Pass to express our appreciation for their early and continued support.

Now let’s cross our fingers that Deceit 2 meets the expected success. You can find maps PSN on Amazon, Cdiscount And there Fnac.
