During CES 2022, Ecovacs announced the upcoming arrival in Europe of the star of its catalog, the Deebot X1. A designer robot vacuum cleaner that cleans and washes for you. But it’s its cleaning station that wants to make the difference by doing everything automatically for you.

The 2022 trend does seem to be one of robot vacuums that do virtually everything for you. Real everyday household robots, without you even having to worry about them. After the Roborock S7 MaxV Plus which is managed almost alone, here is the Ecovacs Deebot X1 which uses almost the same recipe.
The upcoming Deebot X1 family is not a newcomer. Ecovacs already launched it last year in Asia. To celebrate the 10 years of the European branch of the Chinese manufacturer, the range arrives on the Old Continent in the spring. This all-in-one model is both ultra design and efficient, intelligent and automated to be forgotten as best as possible.
Even more precise and responsive object detection
In terms of design, signed by Danish designer Jacob Jensen known for having worked with Bang & Olufsen, there is a fairly elegant black and white robot vacuum cleaner, but with a fairly classic look. With the exception of the two round and rotating mops found underneath. The Deebot X1 Omni is supplied with a fully automated dust dump station into which the robot slides.
The Deebot X1 Omni will therefore vacuum and wash, eliminate all dust and dirt thanks to its multiple sensors and its on-board camera which allow it to manage your surfaces as best as possible. For this, it relies on its AIVI 3D technology. It relies on its AIVI 3.0 obstacle detection system to identify a wider range of household objects and thus better avoid them, but also to be able to judge the size of these objects to the nearest millimeter (TrueDetect 2.0). Prowess already seen on previous models, but which are clearly improved here.
To achieve this, the Deebot X1 relies on an AI processor announced “16 times more powerful than its predecessor“. This should allow it to identify your surroundings 20 times faster, also thanks to the intelligent navigation TrueMapping 2.0 which approaches the technology of self-driving cars to map even the most complex dwellings much more precisely and quickly.
A 100% automated emptying and washing station
On the cleaning side, the Deebot X1 Omni still benefits from Ozmo Turbo 2.0 washing technology for its two rotating mops. These spin at 180 rpm with downward force to better remove stains from all types of surfaces and surface patterns. You can also launch the robot vacuum cleaner by voice with the help of Yiko, a in-house AI technology for natural language recognition and processing. This assistant understands and executes voice commands without the intervention of a third-party voice assistant (Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri).

But the miracle is also accomplished on the return to its base. Not only will the dump station suck the dust out of the vacuum cleaner collection tank, but it is equipped with a system to clean and dry the mop automatically and to fill the water tank if it starts to be empty. . And of course, the station is also used to recharge the vacuum cleaner.
As on the latest Roborock model, the device can resume its cleaning mission without you having to intervene to clean the mops or fill the water reserve. A real saving of time promised.
Price and availability of the Ecovacs Deebot X1 range
The Deebot X1 Omni will go on sale from April at 1,499 euros. The Deebot X1 Plus will also be available in April for 1099 euros. This is a smaller model and less provided in novelties, in particular at the level of its base.
