Recalling having offered the display of song lyrics long before Spotify, Deezer announces today (Monday April 11, 2022) to launch a translation function. Attention, it is not yet a question of translating any piece into any language. Only the most popular titles in the Deezer catalog are currently concerned (there are still 10,000 of them), while translation is only possible from English into French, Portuguese, German and Spanish. Enough to “better understand the world of artists [ou encore] learn a new language through music”depending on the platform.
Benefiting from the translation of the lyrics of your favorite songs is extremely simple. In the application, all you have to do is access the lyrics of the track you are listening to using the “microphone” icon, then click on Translation. To discover this feature, Deezer invites its users to consult a special playlist, called Hit Tracks, Hot Lyrics.
