Dell announces two new 32″ screens for gamers, one 4K, one 1440p, sober but very effective

Dell expands its line ofPC gaming monitors
with two 32″ monitors called G3223Q and G3223D.

These two new products both display a Fast IPS panel offering respectively a high refresh rate of 144 and 165 Hz. The first has a 4K resolution, the second goes to 1440p.

Two screens sober, effective… but expensive

Usually the prerogative of its brand dedicated to Alienware gaming, Dell’s gaming hardware is expanding with these two new 32″ screens. The G3223Q thus presents a very solid technical sheet with 4K, 144 Hz, 1 ms response time and support for HDR 600. The G3223D displays a resolution of 1440p, 165 Hz, still with a response time of 1 ms. This one makes a slight concession by only supporting HDR 400.

Both also boast a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut. In terms of vertical synchronization technologies, both displays support AMD FreeSync, but only the G3223D supports NVIDIA G-Sync.

On the connector side, the two screens are slightly different. The G3223D offers two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The G3223Q has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a headphone jack.

The overall design remains similar between the two products, with an adjustable foot both in its height and in its vertical as well as horizontal inclination.

These two new Dell screens will be available by the end of the month, but the price will have to be paid. Count approximately 652.53 euros for the G3223D and 996.93 euros for the G3223Q.
