In the PSVR2 games announced during Sony’s State of Play, there were also Demeo. The purely RPG-oriented title in the style of a real board game, was illustrated with an announcement trailer, and will arrive simultaneously on PSVR 2 and PS5.
A real board game in VR
In its purely RPG aspect, Demeo will train us up to four players in online co-op, a real board game. Indeed, you will have to roll dice or use your cards to advance or attack your protagonists. The software should offer us no less than six different classes – wizard, hunter, assassin, guardian, bard and sorcerer -, for a relatively immersive tabletop role-playing experience, and where you will have to create your own deck in order to compete with the many dangers that await you in each dungeon.
Side improvements via the PSVR 2, the title will benefit 120Hz Sony’s new VR headset, and will also benefit eye trackingbut also the new PSVR2 controller, the Sense Controller. Furthermore, Demeo will have to his credit improved graphics with PSVR 2. Finally, the game being playable in VR or non-VR version, be aware that if you buy the title on the PSVR 2, you will have the PS5 version of Demeo for free and vice versa.
Demeo is scheduled to arrive in 2023, without further details on PSVR 2 and PS5.
