The secret of endless love. The year 2024 marks sixty years of Denise Fabre’s career. For this occasion, the Melody channel is devoting a special week to it, punctuated by three event evenings. So, the 81-year-old host, known in particular for having presented Télé-Sunday with Raymond Marcillac and Joseph Pasteur, gave an interview to Pocket TV. In this article published Monday February 19, the one who received two golden 7s during her career, agreed to reveal the secrets of her love story with Francis Vandenhendewhich has lasted for forty-five years.
First of all, the Télévitrine presenter specifies that the longevity of couples is a family affair on her husband’s side. “My husband comes from a very close-knit family, with parents who went so far as to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary [soixante ans de mariage, ndlr]”, she specifies. As for his family, the situation is a little different. The famous announcer confides that her mother and father separated when she was a little girl, at the age of 10. “I lived with my mom and she protected me a lot. So I think I needed to recreate a cocoon with him“, she says. A bet that seems successful, since the couple even had twins: Olivia and Élodie, of whom it is “very proud”.
