The thriller about the French soccer world champion Paul Pogba continues: His older brother is in custody on charges of extortion. Despite this, he manages to post several uncomfortable videos on social networks.
In the Paul Pogba blackmail case, his arrested brother Mathias Pogba made serious allegations against the French soccer world champion. In a published series of videos and social media messages, Mathias portrayed his brother Paul, three years his junior, as a wealthy and career-focused individual who doesn’t care about his family.
The soccer star surrounded himself with criminals and resorted to witchcraft to ensure France’s victory at the 2018 World Cup and slow down the rise of Kylian Mbappé at Paris Saint-Germain.
Paul Pogba, meanwhile, has accused his brother and childhood friends of trying to extort millions of dollars from him. Mathias Pogba and three of his alleged accomplices are currently in custody. The public prosecutor’s office accuses Mathias of extortion in an organized gang and participation in a criminal organization in preparation for a crime. The others were charged with, among other things, extortion with weapons in an organized gang and false imprisonment.
Mathias Pogba apparently recorded the videos that have now been published in advance when he was still at liberty. Paul Pogba returned to his former club Juventus in the summer after six years at Manchester United. Legal authorities in Italy and France are dealing with the allegations of extortion. Pogba should pay a large sum of money if he wants to prevent the publication of allegedly compromising videos, media reports said.
