Despite the pressures, the Greens still don’t care about People’s Primary

Everyone sees Chile at their doorstep. After the victory of a leftist candidate – incredible, everything happens – in the presidential election at the end of December, some like to imagine an identical outcome in April and the success of a French Gabriel Boric. Today, it is the turn of Pierre Larrouturou, MEP and spokesperson for Nouvelle Donne, to discuss the Boric case and to cite it as an example. What could be more normal: Larrouturou is in favor of the organization of a popular primary on the left – to which he is also a candidate. And guess who attended a primary before being elected President? Boric of course. “He did not come out like a mushroom in the rain but took part in a primary”, Larrouturou notes.
