This new season marks the return of Calus’ corrupted ship, the Leviathan. Its objective: to contact the vessel, known as “Pyramid”, on the Moon. So, because of this connection, the Nightmares of the past awaken.

The Season of Torments obviously brings its share of novelties. Here is an overview of the new content, introduced thanks to this 17th season of Destiny 2:

• Nightmare Containment : Summon and purify Nightmares with fire. Free content for everyone.
• Breakup : Players are led to explore the labyrinthine bowels of the Leviathian in order to discover the truth about Calus’ plans.
• Solar 3.0 : New version of the solar doctrine, with an ultra-customizable system of aspects and fragments, allowing new combinations. Free and accessible content for all players.
• Exotic Pistol The Intruder : Return of Shiro-4’s Exotic Pistol. Content is free for everyone and instantly accessible to players with the Season Pass.

Additionally, Season of Torment will introduce a new Season Pass, an improved Solstice event, and miscellaneous gear, among other things.
