Deutsche Bank: appointment at the head of the French branch

(CercleFinance.com) – Deutsche Bank announced on Wednesday evening the appointment of Emmanuel Duclos as President of Deutsche Bank France, its French branch, replacing Frank Krings.

Emmanuel Duclos joined the German banking group in 2012 as head of the institutional client division (ICG) in France and branch manager of the Paris branch.

He also assumed the role of head of credit sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region since 2018.

Before his arrival at Deutsche Bank, Emmanuel Duclos had spent a decade at UBS after having started his career at Louis Dreyfus Finance in the sale of fixed income products.

As president of the French division, his mission will be to oversee strategy and relations with regulatory authorities in France, in addition to his current responsibilities in institutional clients.

Frank Krings, who is leaving Paris after completing his two-year term, will continue to serve as a non-executive director of several regulated subsidiaries of Deutsche Bank Group in Europe.
