Deutsche Telekom: Adjusted EPS down 12.6% in 2023


(CercleFinance.com) – Deutsche Telekom publishes a net turnover of 29.3 billion euros for the 4th quarter of 2023, a figure down annually by 1.3%.

Adjusted EBITDAAL stood at 10 billion euros (+0.5%), for an adjusted net profit of 1,826 million euros, down 8.1%, revealing an adjusted EPS of 0.37 euros (-7. 5%).

Over the entire financial year, turnover stood at 112 billion euros (-2.1% compared to 2022), with an adjusted EBITDAAL of 40.5 billion euros (+0.7 %) and an adjusted net profit of 7.94 billion euros (-12.6%) revealing an adjusted EPS of 1.6 euros (-12.6%).

‘In a world with many challenges, we have delivered our usual reliability again in 2023,’ said Tim Höttges, CEO of Deutsche Telekom. ‘With the growth of our business on both sides of the Atlantic, we are confident that we will up the ante even further in 2024.’

For the 2024 financial year, Deutsche Telekom is targeting adjusted EBITDAAL up 6% to around €42.9 billion with adjusted EPS exceeding €1.75.
