Diablo Immortal: release date revealed and a surprise PC version

It’s been a while since we had any news from Diablo Immortal, but Blizzard ended up giving it a very short livestream. The opportunity to drop us some big announcements.

Diablo Immortal on all media, or almost

Originally designed for mobile, Diablo Immortal will finally be available on PC at the same time as the iOS and Android versions, starting June 2. With the “desire to reach as many people as possible”, Blizzard announced cross-play and cross-progression, allowing you to play on both versions (PC and Mobile) while maintaining your progress.

Note that you can play it with both the controller and the keyboard, the studio also ensures that the experience will be perfectly calibrated regardless of the device.

On the scenario side, Diablo Immortal fits Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. Players will have to go in search of crystal fragments in order to prevent the forces of evil from raging.

Advertised as free to play, the software will offer no less than 6 classes such as the Barbarian, the Necromancer or even the Demon Hunter and the Mage, as well as 8 explorable environments. Of course, the loot will always be at the heart of the experience, as will the optimization of your stuff.

Moreover, it is already possible to pre-register for the software to be among the first to arrive at the Sanctuary.
