From Westeros to MI6: The stars from "Game of Thrones" and even James Bond himself mourn the loss of actress Diana Rigg.
Actress Diana Rigg died of cancer at the age of 82, which she was diagnosed with in March of this year. Parts of the cast of the fantasy series "Game of Thrones", to which she belonged as the character Olenna Tyrell, said goodbye to her on social networks. For example, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (50) alias Jaime Lannister writes, with which she also had her last scene on the series: "Dame Diana Rigg. She has always set the bar high with her incredible talent, intelligence and wit. An absolute honor and pleasure to have worked with her. May her soul rest in peace."
Liam Cunningham (59), who embodied "Onion Knight" Seewert in "Game of Thrones" Davos, writes on Twitter: "Rest in peace. A remarkable, wonderful, and immensely talented human being." John Bradley (31) aka Samwell Tarly joins him: "Diana Rigg was just wonderful. But you all already know that. Everyone knew it. Very sad news."
James Bond also says goodbye
Rigg celebrated one of her greatest successes as Bond girl Teresa "Tracy" di Vincenzo in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" from 1969. The one-time James Bond in it, George Lazenby (81), mourns his film colleague via Instagram: "I'm so sad to hear about Diana Rigg's death. (…) Her profound experience helped me a lot.
