Did you forget about Halo? Not Paramount+! Here is the trailer for season 2

Series Halo is soon back on Paramount+! The streaming service has in any case just revealed the trailer for season 2, and even its broadcast date.

Received lukewarmly by critics and spectators in 2022, Halo is not (for the moment) the great sci-fi series that Paramount+ must have dreamed of. Never mind, the adaptation of Microsoft’s famous video game license will be back from February 8. The first two episodes will be offered on this date, then a weekly broadcast will be adopted for the remaining six. Perfect to whet the appetite before adapting fallout by Prime Video. What to expect in these eight episodes?

War is declared in Halo

Judging by the grim trailer, season 2 should be a bit more action-packed than the first. It must be said that the war between the Spartans and the Covenant seems well underway. Master Chief (Pablo Schreiber) will of course be back on active duty, with or without his helmet, and he will notably be in search of the famous Halo.

Dr. Halsey (Natascha McElhone, also executive producer with Schreiber), Cortana (Jen Taylor), Soren-066 (Bokeem Woodbine) and Riz-028 (Natasha Culzac) will also be there. Finally, note that it is David Wiener (Fear the Walking Dead) who finds himself showrunner of this season following the departures of creators Steven Kane and Kyle Killen from production.

Star Trek: Discovery is not forgotten

And if you want to stay in space next year, note that the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery had a first extract to reveal during the São Paulo Comic Con. For a real trailer and a more precise date than “April 2024” on Paramount+, you will have to wait.

Finally, let us recall in passing that a rumor in the world of SVoD is currently circulating: what if Paramount+ and Apple TV+ merged their offers? Whether it happens or not, the place to go to enjoy Halo or Star Trek is not expected to change anytime soon.
