Conflicts of opinion around the Covid vaccine are raging, even within Didier Raoult’s family. His eldest daughter, Doctor Magali Carcopino-Tusoli, strongly opposes her father’s positions, and has decided to sue one of the latter’s closest collaborators.
Professor Raoult’s ideas are not to everyone’s taste, even within his family. In an article published on January 12, Le Monde indicates that Magali Carcopino-Tusoli, the eldest daughter of Didier Raoult, has decided to summon a direct appearance for “defamation and insults“one of the closest collaborators of his parent, namely Eric Chabrière. The biochemist is charged by the Institut hospitalo-universitaire (IHU) of Marseille to defend the controversial remarks of the professor on social networks. A first hearing is to take place on February 4 before the 11th chamber of the Marseille judicial court, according to information from Le Monde, and the Public Assistance of Marseille Hospitals (AP-HM) should bring a civil action alongside Magali Carcopino-Tusoli, as well as her husband, Xavier Carcopino, obstetrician-gynecologist at the northern hospital of Marseille.

As a reminder, Didier Raoult is already accused of 9 breaches of the code of medical ethics, and has received a reprimand from the disciplinary chamber of the regional council of the order of doctors of New Aquitaine. Here he is now in dispute with his own daughter, which defends from the beginning the importance of the vaccine. The latter even imagined, with the complicity of her 16-year-old son, a small comic strip which tells “The incredible story of an RNA vaccine”. One way for the vascular medicine expert to combat misconceptions about the vaccine.
